Youth Career Counseling​

  • Career development via weekly meetings, including resume writing and interview prep
  • New World of Work skills via monthly workshops
  • Assistance with internships and apprenticeships

School Counseling

  • Individualized service plan
  • Edu and career plan support once approved CTE has been established at LMC, DVC or CCC with connections to learning communities, tutors and other on campus support systems
  • Continuing Edu or Career Pathways options if you attend a WIOA approved training program

Financial Assistance

  • Assistance with books related to your CTE program if attending LMC, DVC or CCC
  • Transportation assistance such as bus passes, gas cards or parking passes based on your participation in the program ie, attendance of both mandatory meetings each month, mid semester report status, and verifiable financial need
  • Assistance with program’s mandatory requirements such as uniforms, materials, live scans or EMT supplies
  • Assistance with meeting basic needs such as food, hygiene products clothing for your new job or career
